Canyoning, Caving and climbing
When water flows between two mountain sides, we call this a canyon. Water has been flowing there for thousends of years and created a way through, past and over rocks. With canyoning we follow the way of the water. Where the water goes, we go. When the water flows quitely, then we walk or swim through the water. When the water goes down, then we descend naturally formed slides or we jump from small waterfalls into deep pools of water. At higher and bigger waterfalls we will use a rope and abseil down. As soon as we are dressed in a warm wetsuit, a helmet and a harness, then we begin our adventure.
Canyon Riu Piturisconi - San Teodoro
A sunny and warm canyon, that is both playful and beautifulat the same time. Many deep waterpools offer the opportunity to jump and even repeat some jumps if you can’t get enough. Overall this canyon is best compared to a waterpark, though completely natural and without the chloride and long waiting lines. To make the canyon complete, there are even three abseils through the waterfalls.
Caving
An adventurous trip that takes you right through an underground playground. There are no established walking paths, but instead you will be finding your own way over the rocks and through the water. A combination of climbing, scrambling, abseiling and swimming will be used to make our way through the cave. Along the way we will pass many impressive formations, which the guides will be happy to tell you more about.
Climbing at the rockformations by Posada tower
This is a climbing wall with multiple routes. From simple routes that are manageable for everyone, to difficult routes with overhanging sections that can offer a challenge for even an experienced climber. Climbing is sport where we work together in a relaxed environment, helping one another and belaying each other for safety. But above all climbing is a fun challenge for everyone. When you make it to the top, don’t forget to kiss the carabiner!
